Hard to source little plastic clips, brackets, pulleys, cables and strange screws are all carried by our staff as well as power supplies, carriages, service stations, hard drives, cutters, printheads and cartridges.
What can you expect from us on site?
Well, we carry a huge range of parts. When they visit, our engineers will be prepared with a rich assortment of parts for your Designjet. Hard to source little plastic clips, brackets, pulleys, cables and strange screws are all carried by our staff as well as power supplies, carriages, service stations, hard drives, cutters, printheads and cartridges. So when we leave the machine is not just repaired but returned its proper condition with all screws and clips and defective parts replaced.
We offer 3 levels of service as well as rental deals in new and refurbished machines.

Repair service with warranty (RSW)
Unique to Bristol Inkjet Ltd (BIL) is our repair, service and warranty package.
We hate to repair a fault, only to get called back to correct some other defect a short time later.
While fixing the fault is the cheapest option, we prefer to go further.
We want you to be confident that you won’t have any more repair costs for that machine for the next 12 months, so we offer a full service at a reduced price.
For a very reasonable additional fee, the engineer will replace any parts which might cause problems in the next 12 months.
And we back up our word with a full 12 month warranty on the whole machine (excluding consumable parts).
From our point of view, we do a proper job and you get complete piece of mind for 12 months.
For example, to replace a belt on an HP Designjet 500 will cost £185 call out plus parts at about £35.
Repair Service with Warranty (RSW) will cost only £90 more – £275 including all parts, and you can be completely confident that if something goes wrong in the next 12 months you will not pay a penny more.

All you can eat support contracts (AYCE)
This is very popular. This provides a higher level of support and arguably the highest level of saving, and simplest management.
AYCE covers everything. Paper inks, service, parts, call out and printheads.
We service the printer at ½ price – and then provide UNLIMITED inks and papers and printheads, as well as all service and callout for a monthly fee for as long as you want.
We supply a good buffer stock or inks, paper and printheads – and top it up when you request.
Typically for an HP500 this would be £42 per month. No matter how much you print or what goes wrong with the printer, you will not pay anything extra.
Repair Only (RO)
We offer Repair Only (RO) – a simple repair of the fault. The full cost will be quoted before arrival and, provided no other faults or complicating factors are found, this will be the price you pay no matter how long we are on site.
Multi Printer / Multi Site Contracts
Some companies have many Designjet printers, often spread over several sites.
For these we offer a monthly flexible contract. Either an All You Can Eat (AYCE) service contract or Repair Service with Warranty (RSW).
The benefits are huge, meet all requirements with one call or email, and for AYCE customers, the simplest supply chain management solution. No purchase order to raise, and no paper work to manage. A fixed monthly cost no matter what you print.
